So, I asked my fiance...

if he misses me while he's at work. not in a naggy way--girls just wonder.

and he answers.."yes, i'm always thinking, man, i wish i could be with that girl right now."

ahh. that made my world 100 times better.
i adore him.

JoyHaven!

a little treasure i was able to find just a year ago, when i imagined my dream wedding. it's called joyhaven. an amazing couple, from dickinson, north dakota started this little gem. it's located on their farmstead. they were looking into reception locations for their daughter's upcoming wedding, and weren't finding anything that really stood out to them, especially for the cost. so what did they do? they turned an old quonset into a reception hall. all dolled up in white drapery-this place is a sight to see on the inside! i love it because, i've always dreamed of a cute, rustic, country wedding, and joyhaven captures all those feelings. from the outside, it's welcoming, and feels homey. when you step inside, it's beyond brilliant. such a loving mom and dad to turn a quonset into a daughter's dream come true.

so-you guessed it. our wedding reception will be held here, and i am beyond excited.

just this past weekend, mom and i headed out there to see if ken, the owner, had any locations ideas for my "out in the middle of nowhere" ceremony. he was very helpful, showing us a couple of locations. the last, was by far my favorite. locating right beside a small, relaxing creek, and at the bottom of a rolling hill, it is tucked away to perfection. the ceremony will take place right beneath two rustic trees, and i can easily invision all of my plans, laid out exactly how i've always dreamed.
decorations will be kept simple. think branches. and trees. think simple flowers, and country simplicity. i cannot wait to see it come together. i'm sure you guys are the same way...you knew the building. where each flower would be placed. where each picture frame would go,--it's a girl thing. guys might never understand, but they don't need to. we will take care of the decorating part ourselves, we've only been dreaming of it for years. :)

i am begging my dad to put together a beautiful door like this. just a little, cute feature to add to the uniqueness our our big day.

love, love the tree stump cake stand. you will see one at our wedding!

oh, kyle hale. i am drooling over these images, and hoping i can talk, tyson, our photographer into something this beautiful.

Time Slips Away...

it seems like a day goes by. and then a week. and for me-almost two weeks...
props to those who blog everyday and keep me very entertained.
i've spent the last two weeks keeping very busy. getting little wedding odd's and end's done, along with all sorts of traveling. the dental office i work for flew us from montana to minnesota for a dental conference for 5 days, and then this previous week, i headed down to south dakota with my mom for a girls weekend. it was a wonderful time to get away with her-i think everyone deserves some alone time with their mom. our weekend was full of shopping, facials, pedicures, and haircuts. not to mention---SONIC! where i am from, we drool over the sonic commericials, but only dream of actually seeing one! so-to our suprise, rapid city, sd had one. we went there three times in two days. doesn't get any better than that.
but, now i am home, and enjoying a couple of days of vacation. it's been great. i got to spend yesterday bumming around with jace, watching movie, and just relaxing. it's the little moments with him that remind me just how lucky i am, and how fun he is.
so--go out, enjoy your mom and your loved ones. time is precious, and it will remind you why you love them in the first place!!
