Love {Hannah}

If there is anybody that has taught me how fun love can be
- it's Hannah.

She dates my brother, and there is no doubt that these two love each other, and make sure they go out of their way to keep love fun.

Even though Jace and I are older than them, and already married-I think we will always look up to them as a couple.
They are both wonderful.

So with that-this is something they do to keep love fun.

The way it should be.

"My boyfriend, Brade, and I are a big fan of little notes. For our two year anniversary I made a bunch of little notes and put them in all of his jean pockets. That morning I texted him and told him to check his pockets. He loved it. It's so fun asking him what note he got that day. Another fun thing is getting mail from your boyfriend, even if you live in the same town. Brade sometimes mails me the cutest letters. They always make my day a million times better!"

Such a simple idea.

it's those little things take you farther than you can ever imagine.

Don't ever stop.

Best thing.

Is this not stinkin' adorable. I think so..

My little brothers are amazing. I got a phone call tonight-one night before we take off towards LA and Mexico for our honeymoon, telling me to check my email.
In it was a message from my brother Brade with this adorable audio message.
There is nothing like fun suprises from those you love most.
Thank you Brade. I'll miss you too....

if you get a chance put your dancing shoes on..

..and listen to this.
thank you mr. langhorne slim.
ps. Can I steal your name? It's kinda catchy.

I guess your smile...

..is the sun's way of lighting up everything in the world that is dark.

Along with loving my husband's smile, I fell in love with these little beauties the moment I spotted them.
bright yellow tights.
And yes, I did it.
I bought a pair.
I've been mentally preparing how I am going to rock them since I purchased them.

And I can't wait.

LA-watch out.

Busy-but happy.

Sorry, I've been busy.
But I think the results are worth it.
There's nothing like staring at 1700 images that you can't wait to start editing!
From seniors and babies, to weddings-it's a been a great year for pictures.

Other than editing photos, husband and I are gearing up for some of the best company tomorrow night!!
MY MOM AND YOUNGEST BROTHER.
We adore company. Especially family.

And of course we are packing. Because in about 36 hours we will board a plane for Los Angeles, take in some sights.....
and then hop on a huge boat to Mexico.

PS. Did i tell you that I am going to be zip-lining 500 feet above the mexican rain forest.
hopefully my husband will at least hold my hand.

Happy Wednesday.

I belong with you.

So tonight, I was watched tv with my 15 year old brother.
Taylor Swift came on our TV and was singing her song You Belong with me...and McCahen then proceeded to sing along with her, only to change the words to I Belong with You.
It definately wasn't a spur of the moment thing. I think he's practiced.
So it's pretty much official.
Our whole family loves her.
On other happy news. Mom and I made a quick trip to Bismarck tonight to do some last minute CRUISE shopping.
Yes, that's right. Cruise.
Our honeymoon is creeping right up.
5 days to be exact.
4 days in Los Angeles. 7 Night cruise to Cabo and such...
Can't wait.
Hurricaines-please leave us alone.
Any one that's been to LA-any recommendations?

One of those days.

Do you ever have one of those days where you just don't know about a lot of things?
Today is one of those days for me.
One of those days where the people you thought would always be there, suddenly must have forgotten about you.
One of those days where everyone and everything is a little crueler than usual.
Those days where you aren't exactly sure where you are going, or how your life should be.
One where everyone else seems to have it all, and you are barely getting by.
You know, when you just didn't do your hair or make-up right, and every other girl did, and looks great.
One of those days when that one person you couldn't wait to get to know better really doesn't care...

Ya. Those days are no fun.
I 'm hoping I don't have another one.

PS..Jace come home soon. I need you.

Love {A Guitar Hero and his Princess}

Todays love dare comes from another blog I could read from begining to end, every day--
It's written by an amazing Princess.
Detailing her life, and her love of her Guitar Hero.
It's just so enjoyable to see a couple living out their dreams and love song, even if spread miles apart from each other.

I love her love for Elvis, her book reviews, and her movie recommendations. This princess is gorgeous, and is her boy's biggest fan.

She writes it best....

"He is one of the greastest guitar players around and she is his biggest fan! He tours all over and she sadly waits for him to come back. No matter how many times he leaves she promises to always be here when he returns. Miles apart or not there is no love like this. Someday they will make history... even if it just in their family."

What an amazing introduction, I just love that last line.

So, I won't make you wait...Here is their fun love ritual.

A guitar hero and his princess love dare.
" It is very important for us to keep our love exciting and new. Making time for each other is a huge deal in our relationship along with communication. With the guitar hero being gone as often as he is and our time being spent apart so much we like to write letters to each other. But when he is home we enjoy just driving around in the car with no place to go. We, find that the best time to talk is in a car. It is just him and me and a little background music to keep us happy. We can spend hours a car. Talking, holding hands, looking at dream house and picturing our future, going down back roads and falling in love over and over again. I seriously think that car rides are a great cheap and fun date to keep you and your love one happy and if you don't believe me... then try just try it yourself... I dare ya!"

Such an amazing idea-like the princess said, give it a try.
Keep your love fun, romantic, and spontaneous.
We dare you.

Can't stop watching this.

Sorry for the week of music blogs. But, it inspires most of my days!
Here is a new favorite video. Love the bed scene!

{15}

If you didn't already know this, I adore Taylor Swift. She's under 20, incredibly talented, and beautiful. And she is honest. When I first heard the song "fifteen", I wasn't 15. I was 21, and it still meant alot to me. I am now 22 and I still relate. I don't quite know who I want to be, or who I will become, but I am sure enjoying this little road of life, learning about the person I am becoming.
Some friends won't last forever. The things I stress over now won't matter in 6 months. My mom will always be my best friend. And I love my husband.
That's what I know now. And let me tell you...I didn't know any of that at 15.
Thank you Taylor for another beautiful song, if you haven't heard it-you should.
The video for this song just premiered today-it's lovely.

This is {Love}, with a side of {we miss you}

So, this past weekend I drove back home to my parents house.
My youngest brother, McCahen, and I were home alone.
We of course wished that our brother Brade could have been there with us.
And of course his adorble awesome Hannah.
So with time on our hands, this is what we did on Saturday to show him how much we wished they were with us.
Watch it HERE.
Then this morning I checked my email only to find this.
Watch their reply HERE.
If that's not family love...I don't know what is.
I love my family...and obvoiusly miss them too.
Enjoy your Wednesday!

Love {Rachel}

Sometimes life is busy.
That's when little acts of love can be the most important.
So, here is Rachel--from Confessions of a Jersey Girl, to fill us in how she and her boyfriend Matt keep things fun and special.
Some great advice from a girl with a great blog.

"My boyfriend, Matt, is a police officer. He works 12 hour shifts and our days off only meet up once every two weeks. We try our best to make the most of our time together, so we're big believers in mini "staycations" where we are basically tourists in our own town for a day. Living in a beach vacation town, we sort of forget to appreciate all that we're surrounded by so it's nice to take a day and go into little shops and attractions that we overlook most other days. It's inexpensive and so much fun!
Something that helps keep us strong as a couple is that every morning when he comes in from work or every night when we go to sleep together, we just lay together and talk. Only for maybe 15 minutes or so and usually about anything... but even now, it's my favorite time ever spent with him... I can't wait to wake up and just talk to him. We also leave little post-its around the house with little messages on them. It never fails to bring a smile to our faces."

Thank you Rachel for taking the time and for stepping up to the dare.
I think we all could benefit from taking a little "staycation."
You never know what you will learn about your city-and each other.
So go ahead, try it. We Dare you.

Love {Brooke}

There is this girl named Brooke.
You might recognize her from her amazing blog--Playing Grown Up.
I adore this girl in so many ways. I love her headbands. Her wonderful style. Her sweet little puppy. Her way with headboards. Her neat little diy's..
. But most importantly, the cute, quirky love she shares with her boy, Grant.
You just can't help but want to cuddle up and read their blog front to back, and up and down to capture the love that is shared between the two of them. So, of course Brooke and Grant were a couple I thought we could all learn from, and they stepped up to the Dare.
Here is Brooke and Grant's little ritual that keeps their love silly, fun, and romantic.
Just they way love should be.

"My hubby and I love to schedule in cuddle times. Sometimes we set the alarm clock just a little early so we can wake up and enjoy about ten minutes of uninterrupted cuddling before we set out on our busy days. I love to get a text from my love that says, "You, me, cuddling - 5:30?" In which case I rush home at that time and get my cuddle on. I think it's important to focus on the small things and the small nice moments you enjoy together. And, of course, our motto is to let our inner child out to play as much as possible! We do this with midnight cookie-baking dates or spontaneous gansta' dancing in kitchen."

Like I said...Adorable. Thank you so much for playing along, and for the wonderful idea's Brooke.
Jace and I can't wait to try that spontaneous gansta' dancing. That's right up our alley :)
PS...does it get any better than silly straws. I think not.
