Goodbye...

...2009.
What a wonderful year you were.
Maybe even the best yet.
It started with a wonderful proposal, followed by one of the best summers of my life.
We spent the weekends here and there, with family and new friends-taking in the sunshine.
We laughed. We learned. We planned a wedding.
And once autumn rolled around, we got married.
It was such a perfect day, and just looking at pictures of our wedding brings on the many emotions of that day.
Your wedding day, although busy, will bring about some of the best moments in your life.
Getting ready with girlfriends. Walking down the aisle with your dad. Being surrounded by such amazing friends and family. Hours of dancing. And knowing you get to spend the rest of your life with someone so special to you.
It's all beyond amazing.
I am sad to see such an incredible year closing in on us, but we know there is so much out there to grasp and see the happiness in.
Life will bring us new challanges, new little moments of laughter, and many more memories to come.
So here is to hoping 2010 is just as lovely.
To make it so I plan on--
Kissing my husband more and more each day.
Sending out more hand-written letters.
Working out more often so I feel better about myself.
Complimenting someone daily.
Visiting friends.
Challenging myself at work.
Cleaning out every last space of my closet.
Taking more pictures with my film camera's and starting a photo board to always be reminded of the fun moments in life.
Trying out many new recipes.
...and lots and lots more things.
Here's to a great year, full of love...Happy New Years!

I got a new friend!

You already know that I have a friend named Mini Diana. She took some really fun pictures for us of LA that I hope to post soon...
For Christmas my little brother Brade introduced me to a new friend that
I've wanted for SUCH a long time...
She takes amazing photos just like these...
...and her name is Holga!

I was soooo excited! I cannot wait to get some film in the mail and to give her a try.
Do any of you have Holga's?
Any tips?
Hoping you got something YOU love for Christmas as well!
I got lots of goodies!
Gift cards for B&H photo--one of my FAVORITE websites!
I got 6 pairs of shoes. Seriously.
Lots of fun kitchen appliances-so fun!
And remember that little cradle I saw at the pawn shop in my town that i fell in love with but didn't buy?
Well, I went back there last week to buy it---and it was gone!
I was sad, and called and told my mom, and jace...and probably everone else that i could tell..
That little beauty of a cradle was gone because MY PARENTS called out to that shop and bought it.
FOR ME.
I am soooo exited.
And no, not expecting children in a long while....
But it was such a great antique piece that i wanted to refinish-
AND NOW I CAN!!
I have the best family!
More christmas fun to come...:)

Dear Santa,

Jace and I have been very, very good this year.
We were very kind.
We wrote lots of thank-you notes when people did generous things.
We donated our time to little children who needed it.
We got some good Christmas gifts for our friends and families.
We turned our lights off when we weren't using them. {yes, jace is the best at this}
We said our please and thank-you's all year.
We suprised some people-it was a good surprise, we swear.
We recycled our plastic bags. {jace makes me}
We didn't spread any diseases like the swine flu.
We kissed alot.
We fought a little, but made up. {jace makes me make up. sometimes i want to be mad longer}
We donated clothes to the thrift store. {jace wouldn't let me throw them away.}
We tell those that mean the most that we love them often.
So, since we were good, {or at least Jace was}...all we ask for is...
a super cute new apartment.
Preferable in a city where we can go to barnes and noble for dates late at night.
or where we can walk down the street and just be inspired by the diversity.
or head out and see John Mayer perform less than an hour away.
or shop at something more than a Walmart.
Is that too much to ask?
We promise we'll say thank you.

If it comes with a beautiful bathroom, dining room, and wonderful suitcase end-tables we will love you even more.

We will even provide the suitcases if you need them.
We love you Santa.
PLEASEEEEEEE!

Pirate party.

I spent my Saturday at Logan's pirate themed birthday party.
I had a blast celebrating his 4th birthday with him.
It turns out when his mom asked him who he wanted at his party he said his 4 year old friend and me.
How cute is that.

And...how cool is that eye-patch. I know you're jealous.

Faces.

All these faces make me happy.
PS..whoever wrote the office, and decided that the actors would look at the camera is a genious.
These little moments make the whole show.

smile.

I am a dental hygienist.
Yes, I clean teeth for eight hours a day.
But you know what?
I love it, and yesterday I was reminded why.
No it wasn't a day of work where everything was perfect, and everyone was completely happy..
..but it made me think about why i love what i do.
Here are a few reasons why---
-I clean teeth. Doesn't that make everyone feel better right there? Clean teeth make the world better.
-I get to talk to patients all day long, and I love to talk. I hear about their holiday plans, what little kids what for Christmas, and basically what's going on around the town.
-I get all sorts of neat treats from patients who are grateful for what we do. Salsa, jam, cookies-I love it all.
-I get to see the smile on people faces, or tears rolling down their cheeks the moment after our patients see their new smile. This is one of the most touching things in the world. I admit-sometime tears want to form in my eyes too.
-I get to wear scrubs. None of this spending 3985 minutes deciding what to wear in the morning. This also means more time for blog reading.
-I get to see some of my good friends/coworkers all day long. Our dental office is an easy going, friendly place where laughter is usually abundant.
-I get to sit in a comfy leather chair while listening to John Mayer blast on the XM radio each day. That alone is comfort.

So, even though you might think being a dental hygienist isn't much fun-most of us love it.
And love seeing you-the patients.
Just be nice to us. Some of you aren't.
That doesn't make our days the most fun.
So remember....

Everyday you spend without a smile is a day lost.

Never Stop Loving.

via

If you pick me a flower, I’ll wear it in my hair. I’ll stash little notes for you where you least expect them. I don’t have many firsts left.. but I’d like someone who I could offer all of my lasts. We’ll make history together. I’ll wait for you even if you’re late – and I won’t complain about it. Kindness to cashiers, valets, waiters and maddeningly slow postal clerks who would try the patience of Gandhi is a must. I will feel safe and most at peace in your arms. When you’re counting aloud, I will try and mess you up. I find you magically delicious. I will let you be right when it doesn’t really matter. I’ll giggle when you show off and I know it’s just for me. I can build a fire without burning the house down. If you wash the car with me – I promise to wear a white t-shirt for you. I‘ll hide around corners and try to scare you in the middle of the night.. of course, I’ll end up scaring myself and you’ll have to calm me down. It’s the simple things you do that make me swoon the most. I love it when you sing to me, even if it's nowhere near perfect. I’ll make you mickey mouse pancakes. Sleeping in has a whole new meaning now that we’re doing it together. I’ll cover you up and kiss your forehead when you fall asleep watching tv. I’ll grant you three wishes. I’ll make you laugh. I will marvel at your strength. I’ll take care of you when you’re sick. My heart will skip every time you walk through the door. My kisses will take your breath away – seriously. I’ll giggle if you leave your socks on in bed. My quirks and oddities have been deemed ‘adorable’ and I will love you more everyday for all of yours. I’ll hold you when you need it. I will give you space when you need it. I will let you be you. You’ll sleep better when I’m next to you. I’ll thank you every time you open a door for me.. I won’t ever let you leave for work in the morning without a passionate kiss. We can watch your movie first. I’ll clean the house perfectly every time your mom comes by. I like horror movies only when you’re with me and only as long as you hold me close. I don’t litter. I love when you pull me down to sit on your lap. I love it when you lay your head on my chest in bed. I can balance a checkbook. I can never turn down a challenge. I’ll fit perfectly in your arms. Hand-written love notes will get you a kiss every time. I can totally keep a secret. I’m pretty funny and will do anything to make you laugh. You will always look hot to me in the morning. I think it’s cute when you eat off my plate. When you’re sleeping, I’ll try to stay quiet. I’ll call when I say I will. I’m looking for a man who quite simply adds something extraordinary and special to my life. And I to him. A fair exchange, an amazing mind, body and soul connection and a place to build something magnificent. -author unknown

Love {Megan}

Our next little love dare is from a neat girl named Megan. Megan is a fellow photographer lover, and lives really close to my home town. I've had lots of fun keeping in contact with her these past few years and seeing her little daughter Angela grow, as well as watch their adorable house renovation. If anyone knows me--you know I love remodeling older houses, and Megan and her husband have done a great job!
Her advice is really touching to me and Jace, as we are now married, and it's great to see love's perspective from a married couple. We do truely think it is the little things that make the most happiness.
So, THANK you Megan for the wonderful love dare. I enjoyed reading and learning from it. And I hope all the readers learn something as well!!

"Being a young married couple is always difficult and sometimes it's a challenge to keep the romance going after a few years. However, you never really know a challenge until you throw a child into the young marriage. Tyler and I have attempted many times to do things for just our selves and nothing ever seems to become a reoccurring event. For a while we did a sort of camp out on an air mattress in our living room watching hockey movies and then we'd fall asleep out there. But that soon faded with an infant waking you up...the air mattress shifting as you get off of it tends to kill the mood. We soon found a love for cooking together. We'd throw on some good tunes, crank them up real loud and whip up a new meal that we had seen that morning on Rachel Ray or some other show. However life started getting in the way with that one when Tyler started working shift work. He wasn't always home and when he was it was such odd hours that cooking to loud music was out of the question...it would wake the baby. However, I think we may have found it. We combine the four things we both love to do every other saturday night...or friday night, whichever one works out best that week. We start off the evening with cooking up a meal, usually some good homemade chili or buffalo wings and enjoy a family dinner with our daughter. After dinner and dishes are settled, we have a dance hour. The three of us put on the best music that we've come up with from that week and we dance to it for an entire hour. Tyler and I get to practice our polka, swing, two stepping, jiving, and Angela(our daughter) gets a kick out of the movements and laughter. Since all three of us our worn out from the dancing, we settle Angela into bed, and while she winds down we read a chapter out of our books to each other so we get an idea of what the book is like...its easier to decide if you want to read it after them or not. And when the chapter reading is over and done with, we pull up a movie on the computer in our bedroom and drift off to sleep cuddling. It doesn't seem like much, but after a few years of marriage you begin to notice that it's the everyday, miniscule things adding up together that turn out to make the best of nights. "

I...

...believe in making the time for your family. always. visiting, calling, not just when something is wrong.
...believe that you shouldn't talk about how sad you are that you lost a friend to drinking and driving, and then proceed to party every night yourself.
...believe in surrounding yourself with positive people.
...believe that a mom should always be able to tell her child no, and that child will listen.
...believe in laughing daily.
....believe that this should be the happiest time of the year.
...believe that brides are super busy on their wedding day. if they don't dance with you, it's not because they are mad. they are busy.
...believe in writing in a journal. this is my journal. don't like how i'm feeling? don't read it.
...believe my brother Brade is the luckiest boy on this planet.
...believe if you have a problem with someone. talk to them. don't wait three months before mentioning a thing. that never helps.
...believe in kissing.
...believe that songs can make you feel better alone.
...believe in wedding. and all that you vow during them.
...believe grapefruits are the best fruits.
...believe dates to pawn shops are lots of fun, and should be taken more often.
...believe in love.

Ditto.

Isn't this classic.
Jace found this on the computer the other day, and I just now remembered to post it.
that's about as clever as it gets.
Ps...word from someone who's been there. life is much easier without families who don't try and make your life hell. so pick carefully.
if you get unlucky..it's ok. you don't have to like everyone.
jace and i don't. :)

Lucky.

I am beyond lucky. Today during my hour long lunch break, I sat on my husbands lap {ps-this is one of my favorite places in the world to be. there is something so wonderful about his hugs} and thought about what a wonderful weekend i had. I didn't do much--but it was great. I usually work Monday-Thursday, so i had Friday off. I got up, threw on one of my favorite dresses, some warm tights, and went outside to face the day. I met with an insurance lady, ran to the post office, had lunch with jace, and went on a little date with him to the pawn shop. There were so many wonderful treasures--especially this beautiful crib. I am still convincing myself it's worth $100, and that I need to go get it RIGHT NOW...:) Jace doesn't see this as logical, as we won't have kids for 23o848 years yet..but it's one less thing to buy later. that's my only excuse. that, and it's adorable.
after he got off work, we cuddled up and started watching the office. from season one. we are in love. me with jim. and jace with me. ok, ok, i definitely love jace the most, but jim is sooo cute and nerdy and so in love with pam. so, i'm over him.
saturday consisted of finishing a few photo sessions while jace worked, and then we made supper and headed out to dairy queen for the new peppermint blizzard. once again, love. mmmm...
Sunday was yet another lazy, lazy day. But those are my favorite kind. We are now onto season 2 of the office...and did lots more cuddling!
All in all, an excellent weekend. my husband is absolutely the perfect guy for me, we got to eat ice cream. we cuddled. talked to family on the phone. surprised my brother and his girlfriend. and was lazy.
With that..here are a few things i fell in love with this weekend...

Jace, of course. I always love him.
Jim. Need I say more.
PS...haven't seen an office episode?! Do it now! Hilarious.
Peppermint blizzard!!!! We love ice cream-even if we have to go out in the snow to get it.
and my latest.. clay from one tree hill. to make a long story short he is a sports agent on my favorite show ever. he asked a his girlfriends sister and brother-in-law permission to fall absolutely, insanely in love with her.
how stinkin adorable.
i love love.
what do you love this week?!

Friday, December 4, 2009

Etc...

And HERE are more.
Don't get sick of us.
we know there are lots.

Loves it.

Our wedding pictures are .......Here!!!!
A lot of you have seen them already, but here they are!!!!!
We adore them!

Fishy.

Something fishy is going on.
but i love it.
hope you have a wonderful friday.
mine has started out great already.
no work.
the weather is decent.
i got to be lazy this morning with jace until he went to work..
and i am now eating chips and salsa for breakfast.
perfect friday.

Sometimes..

...You just need a little help from mom and dad.
this week hasn't been the most fun for me.
sometimes, people are hurtful.
but, my parents always make it better.
i will forever be thankful for them...
miss you.

my husband looked for an onion with less peeling/skin on it at the grocery store, because it would probably be cheaper.
he is silly.
i love him anyways.

Love {Naomi}

It's Thanksgiving!!!
I get to spend it with my wonderful family, and i have lot's to be thankful for this year.

Along with family, friends, my husband, and every other little thing on my thankful list-

I am incredibly thankful for this lady.

Her name is Naomi.

I hope you've already have had the pleasure of getting to know her through her amazing blog.
If not-you are missing out.

I am thankful for her because no matter what day of the week, or time of day, seeing that she has a new blog post makes my day a little better.

She's so admirable and gorgeous.

She's fun, and quirky.
And she's married to a boy named Josh.
They are hands down one of the cutest couples around..
and they make love look so fun..
so of course I'm thankful for them.
-Thankful that they show us through amazing pictures, and wonderful blog posts just how enjoyable love can be.
So, who better to get a little love advice from?
Here is what Naomi and Josh do to keep love exciting, and fun.
The way it should be.

"Something Josh and I love doing is going on what we call "little dates." These are usually inexpensive outings where the two of us get to be together and spend some quality time outside of our home. Past "little dates" have included a little trip to the children's section of the book store, or heading to ToysRUs store to ride the ferris wheel, or even just a stroll down to McDonald's to grab 99 cent ice-cream cones. Our favorite memories together so far have been those that aren't too elaborate or fancy....but are simple and sweet."

photo's via rockstar diaries.

Thank you Naomi for taking the time to share your love dare with us. Such a wonderful idea.

And it truely is the little things that make love as wonderful as it is.

It's the little stories about what fellow couples do to keep love fun and special; that inspire all of us to take the time for each other and remind us that it's the little things in life that mean the most.

So, we dare you.

Head down to your local toystore, and share some giggles.

Or share a coffee while paging through novels at your local book store..whatever it takes to keep love fun.

After you do that--hop on over to Rockstar Diaries. I can only imagine after ready a few posts from Naomi that you will be thankful for her too. So inspiring.

Our Dare.

I recieved an email, {after i wrote my thankful post} from a fellow blogger wondering what our love dare was, and why i was thankful for it.
so, let's back up a little.
you see, in this day and age, money is a little tighter than usual.
flights are more expensive. gas is crazy.
and going out on a date isn't easy on the pocketbook...
but love still needs to be fun.
and romantic.
and goofy.
and exciting.
and fun.
Pure fun.
so...
We dared everyone to join in.
Share with us your tips. thoughts. and ideas on...
fun date ideas.
silly daily rituals.
loving moments.
and what you do to keep your love fun..
because we all know we can learn from each other.

Thankful.

It's Thanksgiving week.
So I only thought it was appropriate to inform you of a few things I am thankful for this year.
I am thankful for..

a husband who splits best friend duties with my mom.
he's understanding and know's how special she is to me.

getting to go to my hometown often.
and when i do, seeing signs in my parents windows cheering on my little brother and his football team. just looking at that sign makes me happy and proud.

colored tights. simplest way to add a little fun to your day.

men who hold doors for woman. so polite.

a husband who admits he might have a thing for alice cullen.
that doesn't make me feel so bad for having dirty thoughts about a 17 year old werewolf.
or alice's brother for that matter.

my dad and youngest brother becoming best friends.
there is no doubt they have fun together. and that mac looks up to his dad.
just like all of us do. they just have a special bond. so evident.

frozen yogurt. in all flavors.
i'm also thankful jace doesn't like it much. more for me.

getting magazines in the mail. or any mail.
my day gets better when i open that little box and see fun things in there.

friends. i have the best ones.

having an amazing wedding-and the great weather and company that accompanied us that day.

strangers who smile at me.

a brother who go dress shopping for me with his girlfriend.
i'm sure he wanted to kill me. but hasn't yet...so i guess i'm also thankful for my life.

for creative music. so many little things make my day better, but a unique song puts it all into perspective.

being healthy.

a camera that captured many wonderful memories this year.

people who help me surprise other people.

amazing fall weather. this way, i don't have to feel bad that i don't share the garage with my husband. it always makes me sad that he has to scrape his windows and i don't.

lazy days with jace.

in-n-out burger. however, i'm not thankful for the extra pounds i've been acquiring.

old pictures. nothing cheers up a moment more than a funny picture from the 90's. priceless.

netflix online. we can't wait to start watching the office.
from season 1. yikes..we've got along way to go.

a husband that takes out the trash so i don't ever have to do it. or rarely ever.
that might be my least favorite job.

my wonderful family. they are my friends. my support system. and so special.
it's amazing how proud i am of my little brothers. they are too cool.
and too caring. and so special.

the 25 years my parents have been married. i've only been around for 22 years of it-but it's a wonderful thing. they are great. and it's cute that my mom still waits for my dad's kisses when he gets home.

the internet. i would be lost without blogs. and photos. and facebook. and emails.

my brothers girlfriends. because they make both of them happy.
and that makes me happy.

being married to jace. and i'm thankful for every part of him.

laughter. it's the best medicine and always will be.

love dares, and all the fun little tips i've learned along the way.

kind people. i wish there were more of them in the world.

little brother's who host thanksgiving. at 19. insane, maybe.
awesome--yes.

my life. thank you, thank you, thank you everyone. you make it wonderful, and happy, and magical, and special all at the same time.
thank you mom, and dad, and brade and mccahen, and hannah, and miranda, and liz, and grandma, and grandpa, and aunts, and uncles, and everyone else.
and jace. especially jace.
i love you.

what are you thankful for this year??

Late night made perfect.

even though most nights we fall asleep fairly early, and aren't much into the party seen-- tonight i did stay up late to see this movie. and i'm so glad i did.
I even begged husband to tag along-and i secretly think he loved it.
In fact, I think most people did.
The theater burst into cheers when it was time to start New Moon.
and they got even louder when they saw Edward and Jacob's shirts come off.

I laughed at them, but was of course cheering on the inside.

I am not going to ruin this movie for anyone.
because i know lots of people who haven't gotten to watch it yet.
but i loved it.
it was comical.
sad.
non-believable at moments,
and yes, the book is still lots better-
yet, i wasn't let down.
in fact. i may have turned onto team jacob.
but, maybe not. it's late. i might just be sleepy.
tomorrow i'll probably be team edward again.
actually, i'll take either of them.

Ok, I am ready for Eclipse {and bed} right now. Especially with an ending like that.
So very exciting Ms. Bella. You are lucky.

Thursday, November 19, 2009

can't wait.

I've got a date at midnight with this guy.
his name is edward and yes, he's handsome.
can't stinkin' wait.

A little bit random...!

First of all, i hope your week is treating you well!
mine is-it's just busy like usual.
most of you know i am a full-time dental hygienist.
what you might not know-is that i'm kinda a photographer as well.
so, editing photo's is taking up my nights.
but alot of times i am selfish too.
i like to spend the FEW nights i get with my husband-with him.
cuddling. kissing. cooking. laughing.
it's all too fun to pass up.
so if i'm not cleaning teeth or laughing with husband-i'm sitting right here at my computer editing lots, and lots of photos.

So-i don't get to blog as much as i'd like..
i've got wedding recaps coming yet, our honeymoon pictures..
and some of my favorite people/bloggers love dares to come.
get ready.
however..these are a few things crossing my mind right now.

how stinking cute is zooey. i stinkin adore her quirky personality.
and her hair and clothing in these pictures is so dreamy. if i could look like anyone...she
might just be on the top of my list.

photo's here.
If i re-did my wedding, {which i'd never do, because i loved, loved, loved, how mine turned out}
i might do grey and yellow. or grey and soft pink. or just grey. might just be my new favorite wedding color...but that changes often.

On my favorite crafty/decorating blog i saw this chair. or chairs.
this would be perfect for jace and i. me for sure.
because no matter where we are sitting, i can't get my legs on him, or over him fast enough.
and with regular chairs, it's prevents me from sliding over and doing so..
so with these chairs, i found a solution,
i can cuddle up as much as i can, or as much as he allows.
sometimes i think i hover. but usually he just lets me.
that's another reason i love my husband.
and i think he's wonderful.

Love {Jenny}

The next lady to step up to the {Love Dare} was Jenny.
I have fallen completely in love with her blog, and all the fun craft ideas.
It is because of her and her cute decorating ideas that I cannot wait to get a house and add our own touch. She has such great taste.
Not only does she inspire me with her creativity, this little email i received from her gave me great insight that it really is the little things that make life and love great..
Here is Jenny {isn't she a doll?}

"My husband, Wade, and I have been married since July 5, 2008, but we've been together for 7 years. He works two jobs, and I work one very busy one, so it's hard for us to find time to spend together by ourselves! One thing that we do that keeps our love fun is to wrestle!
Now, you may think that sounds crazy, but I'm telling you...I can come home and be in an ill mood, and Wade will grab me and before you know it we're brawling...then I'll get mad, and then I'll start laughing, and then we'll both be laughing and I won't even remember what I was mad about!
We also like to Wii bowl. We're both very competitive, so we'll make a bet on different things. Sometimes I end up packing his lunch for work the next day, and sometimes he'll end up bathing Dex (our Westie), but we love it! We like to include a nice cookie baking session with this activity. :)

Speaking of cooking, we have designated Thursday nights as our "new recipe nights." We alternate picking new recipes, and then cook them together! Or, if it's a FAIL, we just head out to eat instead!
One last thing we do is go grab some ice cream and go riding around with the windows down and the sunroof open. I'll show him where I lived when I was younger and tell him stories, and vice versa. We always wind up finding out something new about each other!"

Jenny and her husband Wade.

So, there it is. It is the little things like wrestling, and laughter that make life fun.
Never stop laughing with each other.
That's so important. And so is to never stop learning about each other.
I love when something triggers Jace to share a story with me that he hadn't before.
It makes me fall in love with every part of him all over.
Thank you Jenny!
Those are wonderful ways to keep love fun
-the way it should be.

over it.

here is just a short story for you.
it's pretty simple now that i think about it.
Basically, we aren't going to get along with everyone in this world.
So, it's ok if you don't like me.

.....la, la, la...ha ha ha.
... with that-happy saturday.
:)

i've got a little can of paint..

chalkboard paint to be exact.
...But i don't think it will be enough.
i've got all sorts of fun ideas.
now i just have to wait for a house.
hopefully it won't expire.
check out these fun ideas.
thank you google for letting me look at these fun pictures for hours..
I love the fridge idea..can't afford a new one? jazz up the old one!
or...spruce up a wall. i love the change of color!

how sweet is this nursery? especially with that extra special chest in the lower left.

my macbook pro..no thanks. but it looks when they do it to someone else's!

such neat decoration ideas.

maybe one of my favorites. a chalk globe.

or maybe it's this one. a little piece of unique art for the wall.
and you can change it up everyday if you'd like.
so--i think i will need to buy some more paint.
because i am in love with all of these.

BABIES!

...this past weekend while out shopping with my mom it hit me.
With all the cute clothes, cribs, and everything else adorable....
I absolutely cannot wait for babies.
However, I will.
Because as much as I love them, I love time alone with my husband too.
And we are selfish right now.
We love traveling, and late nights with loud movies.
But someday, we will be ready, and J will make a great daddy.
and when we are ready, I can only hope making them is this fun...:)

Thank you Brooke~ ---and Cassidy Curtis for making baby making look like so much fun!!!

things learned.

over the past 11 days away i've learned that there are many things in life that make me happy.
including..

flying in airplanes with my husband.

fashion in la. nobody cares what's in right now. they wear what they want, and everyone seems to rock their individual outfit.

warm weather. like 90 degree weather. in the fall. i miss it already.

cruise ship food. i may have eaten waaaayy too much, but jace still loves me.

the way jace places his warm cheeks against mine in the dark to help me fall asleep.
the sound of him breathing that close to me is bliss.

in-n-out burger. we just may have eaten their two nights in a row. guilty.

celebrities. reading about them, and hearing about them is a pleasure of mine. sad-maybe. but normal. especially those two little taylor's. so cute together. so perfect.

seeing the staples center packed with lakers fans.

watching my husband takes his first step into the ocean.

riding the metro in downtown la. so much diversity.

hearing songs i love blaring from trendy shops along the boardwalk.

the mexican rain forest.

hearing my families voices after 7 days without them.

getting to kiss my husband just because it's 10:56

wearing new dresses.

tights.

Pinkberry Yogurt. With pomegranate seeds on top.

WB studios behind the scenes tour.

Having lots of mail after returning home.

Texts and emails from friends I've missed.

Sleeping in our own bed.

Honeymoons, and my husband.

AND...seeing this hottie below at the Lakers game. So exciting.

hoping you've found many things this week that made
YOU
happy.
