Never Stop Loving.
If you pick me a flower, I’ll wear it in my hair. I’ll stash little notes for you where you least expect them. I don’t have many firsts left.. but I’d like someone who I could offer all of my lasts. We’ll make history together. I’ll wait for you even if you’re late – and I won’t complain about it. Kindness to cashiers, valets, waiters and maddeningly slow postal clerks who would try the patience of Gandhi is a must. I will feel safe and most at peace in your arms. When you’re counting aloud, I will try and mess you up. I find you magically delicious. I will let you be right when it doesn’t really matter. I’ll giggle when you show off and I know it’s just for me. I can build a fire without burning the house down. If you wash the car with me – I promise to wear a white t-shirt for you. I‘ll hide around corners and try to scare you in the middle of the night.. of course, I’ll end up scaring myself and you’ll have to calm me down. It’s the simple things you do that make me swoon the most. I love it when you sing to me, even if it's nowhere near perfect. I’ll make you mickey mouse pancakes. Sleeping in has a whole new meaning now that we’re doing it together. I’ll cover you up and kiss your forehead when you fall asleep watching tv. I’ll grant you three wishes. I’ll make you laugh. I will marvel at your strength. I’ll take care of you when you’re sick. My heart will skip every time you walk through the door. My kisses will take your breath away – seriously. I’ll giggle if you leave your socks on in bed. My quirks and oddities have been deemed ‘adorable’ and I will love you more everyday for all of yours. I’ll hold you when you need it. I will give you space when you need it. I will let you be you. You’ll sleep better when I’m next to you. I’ll thank you every time you open a door for me.. I won’t ever let you leave for work in the morning without a passionate kiss. We can watch your movie first. I’ll clean the house perfectly every time your mom comes by. I like horror movies only when you’re with me and only as long as you hold me close. I don’t litter. I love when you pull me down to sit on your lap. I love it when you lay your head on my chest in bed. I can balance a checkbook. I can never turn down a challenge. I’ll fit perfectly in your arms. Hand-written love notes will get you a kiss every time. I can totally keep a secret. I’m pretty funny and will do anything to make you laugh. You will always look hot to me in the morning. I think it’s cute when you eat off my plate. When you’re sleeping, I’ll try to stay quiet. I’ll call when I say I will. I’m looking for a man who quite simply adds something extraordinary and special to my life. And I to him. A fair exchange, an amazing mind, body and soul connection and a place to build something magnificent. -author unknown

Love {Megan}
"Being a young married couple is always difficult and sometimes it's a challenge to keep the romance going after a few years. However, you never really know a challenge until you throw a child into the young marriage. Tyler and I have attempted many times to do things for just our selves and nothing ever seems to become a reoccurring event. For a while we did a sort of camp out on an air mattress in our living room watching hockey movies and then we'd fall asleep out there. But that soon faded with an infant waking you up...the air mattress shifting as you get off of it tends to kill the mood. We soon found a love for cooking together. We'd throw on some good tunes, crank them up real loud and whip up a new meal that we had seen that morning on Rachel Ray or some other show. However life started getting in the way with that one when Tyler started working shift work. He wasn't always home and when he was it was such odd hours that cooking to loud music was out of the question...it would wake the baby. However, I think we may have found it. We combine the four things we both love to do every other saturday night...or friday night, whichever one works out best that week. We start off the evening with cooking up a meal, usually some good homemade chili or buffalo wings and enjoy a family dinner with our daughter. After dinner and dishes are settled, we have a dance hour. The three of us put on the best music that we've come up with from that week and we dance to it for an entire hour. Tyler and I get to practice our polka, swing, two stepping, jiving, and Angela(our daughter) gets a kick out of the movements and laughter. Since all three of us our worn out from the dancing, we settle Angela into bed, and while she winds down we read a chapter out of our books to each other so we get an idea of what the book is like...its easier to decide if you want to read it after them or not. And when the chapter reading is over and done with, we pull up a movie on the computer in our bedroom and drift off to sleep cuddling. It doesn't seem like much, but after a few years of marriage you begin to notice that it's the everyday, miniscule things adding up together that turn out to make the best of nights. "

I...
...believe that you shouldn't talk about how sad you are that you lost a friend to drinking and driving, and then proceed to party every night yourself.
...believe in surrounding yourself with positive people.
...believe that a mom should always be able to tell her child no, and that child will listen.
...believe in laughing daily.
....believe that this should be the happiest time of the year.
...believe that brides are super busy on their wedding day. if they don't dance with you, it's not because they are mad. they are busy.
...believe in writing in a journal. this is my journal. don't like how i'm feeling? don't read it.
...believe my brother Brade is the luckiest boy on this planet.
...believe if you have a problem with someone. talk to them. don't wait three months before mentioning a thing. that never helps.
...believe in kissing.
...believe that songs can make you feel better alone.
...believe in wedding. and all that you vow during them.
...believe grapefruits are the best fruits.
...believe dates to pawn shops are lots of fun, and should be taken more often.
...believe in love.

Love {Naomi}
I am thankful for her because no matter what day of the week, or time of day, seeing that she has a new blog post makes my day a little better.
She's so admirable and gorgeous.
"Something Josh and I love doing is going on what we call "little dates." These are usually inexpensive outings where the two of us get to be together and spend some quality time outside of our home. Past "little dates" have included a little trip to the children's section of the book store, or heading to ToysRUs store to ride the ferris wheel, or even just a stroll down to McDonald's to grab 99 cent ice-cream cones. Our favorite memories together so far have been those that aren't too elaborate or fancy....but are simple and sweet."
photo's via rockstar diaries.
Thank you Naomi for taking the time to share your love dare with us. Such a wonderful idea.
And it truely is the little things that make love as wonderful as it is.
It's the little stories about what fellow couples do to keep love fun and special; that inspire all of us to take the time for each other and remind us that it's the little things in life that mean the most.
So, we dare you.
Head down to your local toystore, and share some giggles.
Or share a coffee while paging through novels at your local book store..whatever it takes to keep love fun.
After you do that--hop on over to Rockstar Diaries. I can only imagine after ready a few posts from Naomi that you will be thankful for her too. So inspiring.
Our Dare.

BABIES!
With all the cute clothes, cribs, and everything else adorable....
I absolutely cannot wait for babies.
However, I will.
Because as much as I love them, I love time alone with my husband too.
And we are selfish right now.
We love traveling, and late nights with loud movies.
But someday, we will be ready, and J will make a great daddy.
and when we are ready, I can only hope making them is this fun...:)
Thank you Brooke~ ---and Cassidy Curtis for making baby making look like so much fun!!!
